I really enjoyed this episode. Finally we have a masked character get a proper reveal! Also had no idea this type of metal existed. I loved watching the lightsabers almost shatter and short circuit for a bit. The battles were awesome and I was not expecting anyone else to die. The Palawan's death was super cool and it took me by surprise. Then when he snapped Yord's neck I audibly gasped. Was not expecting that character to 1. die and 2. die that quickly. I love those kinds of sudden deaths. It really raises the stakes and gets you invested.
Also I thought it was coo KAM showed up. He did not get any fan fair, nor huge entrance or fan service bait. he was literally just in a room. it helps to connect the worlds and make it feel whole without shoving it down your throats. it really is funny how mad people get over one guy standing on set. Makes me wonder why they even watch Star Wars anymore.
I really liked that Ep 5 didn't play it safe. That is the fun with new characters, their fate isn't known and there isn't the investment in them. Like in Ahsoka, you know Ahsoka, Sabine, and Ezra aren't going to die. York and Jecki don't have the luxury. I liked both their characters but it added a lot more bang to the episode.
Started reading this and remembered I hadn't watched the latest episode of The Acolyte yet. Gonna have to come back and review after watching tonight.
Oh you gotta watch the episode before reading. It's too good to get spoiled.
Yup, that's why I scrolled past that section as fast as I could.
The early screen tests of Boba Fett is pretty cool. The "rangefinder" looks very similar to my current web camera.

Hate watching is a real thing...
