Thank you for your positivity! As someone who once grew up with the OT, and took joy in it, I never could have predicted the dark and cynical atmosphere surrounding SW now. But then, I never could have predicted this dark and cynical culture. I use SW to unwind. I don't analyze it like I analyze other movies and shows. And if I didn't like most of the material, I would not be watching. I thought that Rise of Skywalker was very disappointing; my solution is to not watch it again.
